One of the problems associated with owning a unique vehicle like the Taurus SHO is finding a mechanic who is well-versed with the vehicle. Many SHOtimes members have found the expertise available at their dealer and at independent garages to be lacking. This is a list of mechanics that SHOtimes members have used and highly recommend.  Please supply recommendations via the feedback page.  You may also de-recommend shops and have them removed from the list if they a) don't exist any longer or b) did something "not so smart" to your SHO.

If anyone lives in the Central Florida area or finds themselves visiting the area, I urge you all to look up Don Donnelson. I made a decision to hire Don Donelson in Port Charlotte, FL, past president of the Sunshine SHO Club and die-hard SHO afficionado to replace the motor, and had my car towed 3 hours to his place. Don is very meticulous about his work and pays a lot of attention to the most minute details. In a nutshell, I had Don replace my motor with a 3.2L with 3.0L intake cams, 96 brake upgrade in front, new brakes in the back, new Ford clutch and various other changes.
