I am not a mechanic, nor do I work for Ford or any automotive related
company.

Before you email me with a question, please consult these resources
- usually, the answer is already out there :

The SHOtimes FAQ (these pages). Many of the questions that I am asked are
already answered within this web site. Please respect the hundreds of hours
of my personal time invested in these pages by thoroughly searching for
the answer to your question here.

The SHOtimes Mailing List. There are 800+ SHO owners who would love to
help you out subscribed to this excellent resource. Instructions for subscribing
to and interacting with the list can be found at SHOtimes-L
Mailing List and Archives. That page also contains easy access to the
searchable archives of the list.

The many excellent SHO vendors and mechanics. You can find links to them
on this site on the Vendors and Organizations
page and within the SHOtimes Mechanics Hall of
Fame.

Also, please be aware that I do not have any of the following:

Information on finding parts.

Lists of mechanics not found in the SHOtimes Mechanics
Hall of Fame.

Contacts or influence within Ford. I am only a customer, and not even a
direct one at that (I bought both my SHOs used).

Information on TSBs beyond what's in the links from Recalls
and Technical Service Bulletins.

Information on any type of car besides the Taurus SHO. Please don't
email me questions NOT related to the Taurus SHO - I really wonder about
the people who, after reading this site, email me questions about 1934
Ford pickups.

Please feel free to contact me using the signatory hyperlink below about
any of these:

Updates / corrections / submissions to the SHOtimes FAQ.

Entries in the SHOtimes Mechanics Hall of Fame,
or Ongoing SHOtimes clutch poll.

Errors or enhancements to the content of this web site.

Praise or respectful criticism of this web site.

Just about anything else not listed in the first two sections.

Also, please note that most of the FAQ was written by others
(mostly SHOtimes mailing list members), NOT myself - I just compiled the
information together. The contributors are usually noted on the page
where their material occurs. Don't email me about stuff they may
have done - I don't have a supercharged SHO, I don't have ram air induction,
and I haven't converted a SHO engine into another chassis/transmission
so I can't help you with these questions! You'd be amazed how many
people seem to be under the impression that EVERYTHING in the FAQ has been
done by me personally and I own every car shown here. PT Barnum was
right.

Thanks!
