        width="640" height="438"><p>The spike and dip in the 4800
        RPM range is caused by the computer locking up the torque
        converter in the AX4S transaxle. The lockup causes a
        minor driveline shock (similar to a shift, but much less
        violent) and the spike/damping pattern is the result.
        These curves were obtained in 3rd gear.</p>
