Aftermarket Clutches & Throwout Bearings

While the OEM clutch/throwout bearing combination from Ford is not known for it's longevity, there are several aftermarket alternatives available.

Grizzly Paw Clutches

Grizzly Rebuilt Clutch Kit

 Includes a reconditioned pressure plate and a Kevlar-lined disk for improved bite and increased durability. Not recommended for spirited driving. A refundable core charge applies to the disk and pressure plate. 

Grizzly OEM Replacement Clutch Kit

 All new components with a Kevlar-lined disk for better bite and durability, and a stock pedal feel.

Grizzly Street Clutch Kit

 Features a heavily reinforced pressure plate (straps and rivets), a Kevlar-pucked disk that will withstand the rigors of street racing and occasional track events. Recommended for the SHO that has all of the bolt-on goodies 

Grizzly Pro-Lok Clutch Kit (includes flywheel)

 A racing clutch with street manner, features a sintered metallic friction disk, heavily reinforced pressure plate, and a stone-ground matched flywheel. All components are treated with a patented friction modifier to eliminate chatter. A refundable core charge applies to the flywheel. This is the clutch for large bore, cammed, and supercharged SHOs.

The weakest link in the SHO drivetrain, responsible for nearly 90% of all premature clutch failures. This is the first component we addressed with custom design.
