Santa drives a 1989 Light Titanium SHO with a grey leather interior and aftermarket (TSW Stealth?) 5-spoke wheels. If you don't believe me, rent The Santa Clause.
The Naked Gun
In the original Naked Gun, there is a car chase involving a bad-guy driving a black SHO with preposterous spiked knock-off wheels.
Has anyone seen my baby?
There is a '94-'95 SHO with slicers and trunk spoiler in the new music video from The Rolling Stones. The video is filmed in New York City, and the SHO is on very soon after Mick is on the subway asking anyone who'll listen Has Anyone Seen My Baby? It's only there for 0.8 seconds....
Coors Light Ads
A few years back ('92-'94) the Coors Light professional road cycling team used several SHOs as their team support vehicle. For those unfamiliar with professional cycling, these vehicles follow along the route of the bike race, carrying the team coaches along with food and spare parts for their team. If a team member manages to break away from the main group of riders (or peloton ) the team car will move up and follow close behind in case support is needed. In any event, these cars are seen by many spectators along the road and often show up on TV or in print coverage, generating some publicity (of course, since this is the cycling we're talking about, the publicity generated was probably about 1/1,000 of what you would get with a 30 sec Superbowl ad!).
Cops
I once saw a black '89 in a driveway in the background on an episode of COPS.
SHOs have been spotted on FOX's Wildest Police Videos once or twice.
The Flash
A SHO was used on a 1989/1990 TV show called The Flash based on the comic strip character. You could not miss the distinctive rear bumper.
SHOgirls
Anyone who has seen Showgirls may be asking themselves, Is this the worst movie of all time? Does it have any redeeming qualities? Unless one is exceedingly tuned in to everything that happens on the screen, it may be easy to answer these questions incorrectly. Well, the second question anyway.
The answer is yes to both questions! During the final minute, a red '90 SHO can be briefly seen passing in the background (this would be the redeeming quality). The director should have cut the 2:29 preceding this event, and the 0:01 following it, and renamed the movie SHOgirls . I'm sure it would have been a much better film for it.
This information is posted as a public service to those who want to see SHOs on film. You have been warned.
Blood Work
A SHO can be seen in the trailer of the movie Blood Work with Clint Eastwood. The SHO gets a large role in this movie and gets TOTALLY wrecked. If you want to see a SHO driven by a professional stunt driver and getting pushed to its limits (in fact, I'm sure a few SHOs died to make the main action scene), go watch Bloodwork today.

Here's one reason to see Terminator 3. When John Conner steals a Toyota Tundra and races away from the T-X, he rear ends a car at an intersection. The car is definitely, without a doubt, a 1990 SHO with 15 inch wheels (like I used to have!) You can see the bumper right before it gets destroyed, and after the accident, you can see the two mufflers crushed under the car. It's bad enough that there are barely any SHO's left around, but they had to wreck one for this movie?! Side note: the owner in the movie gets all upset because it's his "company car". Nice company. :)

I have the best one yet: A recent commercial for Geico Insurance shows two green 95's (my SHO) driving down the highway, side-by-side. The commentator says the one on the left has Geico the one on the right does not. Then he asks: "What has this owner done with the money he has saved with Geico?" and the SHO on the left pulls ahead and a 25 foot boat comes into view on a trailer he is pulling past the other SHO.....I love that commercial. Sure beats that stupid gecko......

In Terminator 3 Rise of the machines there are many SHO's that make it on the film. It starts with a Grey Gen 1 SHO "31:15" getting plowed by sean connor in a toyota tundra. "32:22" the Termanatrix finishes off the poor gen 1."34:04 "34:18 "a SHO quietly watching the action. "34:23" another Gen 1 "White" SHO is flipped over. In blood work ya got to at least see the sho in action with burnouts, but in T3 the SHO's get Owned.

Duh guys, the greatest SHO cinematic appearence occured in the masterpiece, ROBOCOP!! His first outing on his own, he got some keys tossed to him from across the police station, proceeded to the parking lot, and sank into some anonymous cop car. But when he starts his engine, he peels outta there with some tire-melting FWD power. When hes out cruising and later even in that scene you'll notice, he's driving a police-edition Taurus SHO!!

In Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man in the very begining there is a billboard of what is suppose to be a '96 SHO with the common "Have you driven a Ford lately" slogan at the bottom of the billboard. I am assuming that this was a projected concept vehicle because the car on the billboard looks very much like a Ford Probe. But the car on the billboard looks pretty cool to me. ~shoble
