Date: | October 4, 1997 | Location: | Dyno-Pro, Peoria, Illinois | Car:  | Mike Schwartz's '98 SVT Contour with 2,300 miles. The car is bone stock. | Results: | Max power at wheels: 165 hp at 6600 RPM. The steep drop-off at 6700 or so is due to the operator getting off of the gas. The fuel cutoff on the car is at only 7000 RPM, which is awfully close to the power peak. Max torque at wheels: 148 lb-ft at 2700 RPM and 4800 RPM  | |
