SHOFAST GEN 2 ATX PERFORMANCE TRANS

I got my car from SHOFAST 2 days ago with their built up Gen 2 ATX transmission and I must say it is the best trans my car has ever seen. The 2-3 shift is as firm as the 1-2. The firmness is solid and dead on every time. Feels like im getting pushed in the bumper every 2-3 shift. The drive back from Cinncinati to Chicago was great and damn does their SHOFAST torque convertor have great lockup.The cost is very competitive with other performance transmissions which is why I choose to go with them. And the time and service was great. He promised the car to be finished within a week and it was done in a week. I am also in the works of setting up a date to do full suspension upgrade along with bigger brakes at SHOFAST for the convention.With all the troubles with SHOSHOP its good to see a vendor on the right track.

are the motor mounts on a 1993 sho hard to replace? where are they located and howmany are there?

see the reason is that your trans coxiall cable is worn out and the shift kit isn't responding well to it which is causing your car to act the same as it always has. so you need to replace the cable and then you can tell a difference. in fact the ager spring might be out also

Im glad someone is having good luck with performance transmission. I was wondering if anyone in the know could tell me if I paid for something I didnt really need at "MR Transmission". I told the guy I wanted it to bang into second gear hard enough to chirp the tires. I asked him if a shift kit would do it and he said yes for an extra $150.00 that would do it. Well the trans body reprogramming kit charge for 150 was on there, but the car still just eases into second gear. On a rebuild do you have to have the reprogramming kit or did they shaft me? Thanks Greg from Johnson City TN. This is for a 1995 Taurus SHO.
